Born in 1980 in Scheibbs (Lower Austria), lives in Vienna. 1998-2005 saxophone
studies at University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Klaus
Dickbauer and Wolfgang Puschnig. Further studies with Lee Konitz, James
Moody, Ronnie Cuber, Steve Slagle,...

'Wild Jazz' by the likes of Charles Mingus or Thelonious Monk with all
its harmonic twists and turns seems to suit Salesny better than the more
harmless regions of mainstream... As a co-initiator of Jazzwerkstatt,
Salesny is also part of a young community that gives new impulses to the
jazz-scene in a proactive way.
